Artwork Info
PC or Mac versions: Illustrator, Freehand, Photoshop in EPS, TIFF, AI formats. Scanned art must be 180 DPI or better and all fonts and/or placed images must be included and ‘Converted to Outlines’ (or curves) prior to e-mailing. You cannot simply open a Bitmap file in a program and save it as an EPS, Illustrator or other file type.

Designing for large-format is simple if you follow a few basic rules and some guidelines for using our equipment that will get you the sharpest images and the most accurate color.

First of all, we support the RGB color space (see "Color" above for more details) and the software listed in the links above (see those links for specific prep instructions). While we can use software packages like CorelDraw, Publisher and others, we cannot guarantee accurate color or output from them. (Our production staff will work with you to get the best results possible using those packages.)

There are three primary things to remember when designing for large format: All images should be at 180 dpi. at finished printed size or greater for best results All images should be in their native RGB format (if CMYK, convert to RGB). Remember to include all links and fonts when sending files. If color matching is important to you, you can specify Pantone colors in your job and we will try our best to match it. And finally, you can send us a hard copy of the file for us to match to.
